ANAMBRA FASHION EXPO 2022 IS A WELCOME DEVELOPMENT ~ Vice Chancellor, COOU

 

says, CES-COOU has a lot to offer the project in her next edition.

~ commends Governor Soludo’s leadership style that has encouraged disruptive creativity among the youth in the State.

 The Vice Chancellor, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State, Prof. Greg Nwakoby, has commended the organizers of the maiden edition of the Anambra Fashion Expo 2022 saying that it’s a welcome development to rejig the traditional fashion ecosystem and reposition it for global appeal.

The Vice-Chancellor who was ably represented at the event in Awka by the University’s Director, Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES-COOU), Prof Vincent Ezeabasili, stressed that the Centre priorities fashion in her annual training being offered to graduating students of COOU.

 

While addressing COOUNews at the event, the Vice Chancellor said that CES-COOU since its inception has trained all graduating students in its annual Employment Readiness and Job Creation (ERJC) programs and the department of Entrepreneurship of the Faculty of Management Sciences in industrial learning and tours by the Skills Acquisition Unit of the centre.

“… we commend the organizers of the AFE 2022 and as an institution of higher learning, we are open to partnering with the organizers, especially in areas where our students will have the opportunity of being part of the Models that would perform on the runway, Master Class, among other things. We commend them and also thank the State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo for believing in the young people by giving them opportunities to thrive and contribute to the development of the State and society at large…” He said.

The event was held at the Anambra State International Conference Centre (ICC), Awka.
